What's the first thing you see when you open up your closet doors? Do you see the classic one-toned solid color pieces that we all own? The solid hues and tones of our favorite summer colors that make you feel bright and cheery while out and about. Or do you see an ocean of patterns and stripes that your eyes naturally get drawn to as soon as those doors open?
Either way, some colors and patterns in your wardrobe is never a bad idea so if you're wanting to get that extra 'wow' factor through patterns, it can always be done in a subtle yet classy way because let's be honest, head to toe in different patterns isn't for all of us. It takes that extra bit of confidence and personality to pull off a look like that.
After all, we’re sitting at home spring cleaning and reorganizing our cupboards for the time being, so maybe now is the chance to put some looks together for when you book your next tropical getaway. The one staple we all need while on holiday is a hat. And adding in the wow factor through its uniqueness and painted designs, how can you say no?
The world of patterns and prints is vast and sometimes confusing, like how do we mix and match while incorporating these loud patterns into our outfit? (Don't worry, we'll get into that in our next blog post). For now, we’re showing you which patterns we drew our inspiration from when we created our Jungle collection & African collection. FYI our African collection isn’t live on our website yet, but we’re taking pre-orders so get in touch!
Our original Jungle collection was inspired by the vibrancy of the tropical jungles in Colombia. Here are 2 of our favorites from the collection.
Jungle Collection: Flower Power
Jungle Collection: Jungle Quest
Our African collection is the second collection we have launched. With animal prints taking over the fashion world and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future, we thought some beautifully African inspired hats would go down well.
African Collection: Leopards Life
African Collection: African Sunsets
With trends coming and going, patterns are here to stay. Dressing up or dressing down, let’s admit it, patterns make your outfit.
